There was a severe drought during the 80s, right when I was growing up in the heart of rural North Dakota, USA.
My father spent his days farming thirsty land.
I imagined a battle: Papa against Mother Nature to feed the family.
Money was tight.
Years later when the soil was replenished and I was making my own living, I realized that I had dragged a scarcity mindset into my adult life.
Some people call them money blocks.
Mine included:
“Money is scarce.”
“Making money has to be hard.”
I came to learn how that these didn’t serve me or my business.
My guess is that, if you are like most people, you have your own version of a money block.
If you have ever thought of starting your own business, these blocks can be toxic.
