Images can capture feelings and experiences that we often have, but can’t always put into words. For Cath Brew, drawing has long been an important practice, but never as vital as when she experienced depression while living abroad. Through drawing, Cath found that she was able to encounter and create a better relationship with many of the challenges that she was facing on a daily basis, and has brought them together in her new illustrated book, Living Elsewhere: Because a life overseas can be tough and, well, sometimes you just have to laugh. Today’s episode is the first in a six-part interview series, that looks at the far-too-often hidden aspects of expat life.
