Out of the blue a huge lump formed in my throat and tears started rolling down the side of my face.
What she was sharing wasn’t really moving, it was just that I was overwhelmed by the contrast between how things were for her when we met, and the strong, confident, and full-of-direction woman she is now.
What you are about to hear in this week’s episode of Expat Happy Hour is an unfiltered, unprepared conversation with two women who have transformed their lives this year, and exactly how they did it.
In the first half of A Peek Behind the Curtain of Real-Life Transformation, you will hear how this experienced expat went from feeling like she “painted herself in a corner” to back to her old self, strong and knowing what her path was. Melanie is now opening up her own Zazzle shop to showcase and sell unique gifts for expats who miss their loved ones afar, and can be followed on her blog: https://www.sunhobo.com/ (Her art work is stunning, so definitely check it out!)
The second half of this interview, with Andrea Puck, shares the story of how, after years of moving from country to country, she lost herself. Feeling tired, sad, and hiding this all from others (maybe even herself), she “kept herself busy.” Now Andrea feels strong, knows what her talents and abilities are and is clear on her direction. In fact, she just launched her business Feng Shui & Wellbeing this month. (I have experienced her talents myself, and can highly recommend it!)
Because I have been doing this for so long, I know that their story can be your story.
