Living abroad can present additional challenges for families living with disabilities. Among the many concerns that parents have, it can be particularly hard to ensure that children have access to educational environments that support their personal learning styles, and that are sensitive to the culturally diverse backgrounds they often bring with them. But life abroad has many benefits as well, and can support families living with disabilities, if they are prepared to utilize the resources their home abroad has to offer.
