It dawned on me early in the week when I was tying my running shoes.
I had spent years ignoring doctor’s advice to get 30 minutes of moderate exercise a day.
Denial is an amazing thing, isn’t it?
There is so much about health that we know but blatantly ignore.
Exercise. Meditate. Sleep enough. Be mindful of the quality and quantity of food you eat.
A tough message, maybe, during the holiday season.
But what better time than to think about how we are really fueling our bodies?
Are you taking care of your health in a way that is in alignment with the kind of person you want to be in 2019?
Maybe not.
That is why it is my pleasure to welcome special guest, Mauro Clerici, to this week’s episode of Expat Happy Hour. In How Food Impacts Your Resilience, Adaptation and Feeling of “Home” you will discover:
- The top three steps he recommends every expats prioritizes when they are serious about improving their health.
- What else, besides food, we should be paying attention to.
- Where he thinks we are getting it all wrong.
Mauro gives us some much needed reminders, and a new approach to what it really means to take of yourself and your loved ones.
Here is to living well.
